Snotbot and Intel
Snot. The key to our future. Who would've thought? Intel and Parley for the Oceans worked together on the Snotbot initiative. We tell the story through a series of documentary shorts:
Intel's drones also harvest data with computer vision, using cameras to capture moments when the whale's tale breaches the water. The images become the whale's 'fingerprint', in a sense, allowing the scientists to ID and follow specific whales.
This kind of work takes a lot of hands on deck. Intel was a critical piece of this partnership, bringing together multiple interests with the promise of technology and artificial intelligence.
