EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

I lead a multi-disciplined creative team in developing global creative campaigns for clients including Microsoft, PPG, and Intel. I currently serve as creative lead for our B2B AOR engagement with Intel. 

 

As the Intel creative lead, I manage a team that includes artists, writers, journalists and strategists.

  • I lead creative and content strategy, development and execution for several business units within Intel including: Artificial Intelligence, Data Center, Brand, Internet of Things and 5G.

  • My team creates media in many forms: focused docu-style films, long-form editorial articles, engaging online experiences, and, yes, Instagram stories.

  • I was a member of the original pitch team with partner agency Chiat/Day, and I present creative and strategy to Intel leadership regularly.

 

I direct the technological innovation effort for Doremus, ensuring the synchronization of creative, strategy and data in all of our work.

 

In the last 3 years, we have transformed Doremus from a traditional B2B advertising agency to a
multi-disciplined, editorial-driven content creator. I have been at the forefront of this change including:

  • Building a complete journalism discipline within the agency

  • Bringing 90% of post-production work in-house

  • Creating compelling creative content with a journalistic bent 

 

I previously served as creative lead for:

  • Microsoft Office 365 engagement – from pitch to project execution – work included both long- and short-form video, content and social strategy, and numerous content pieces including editorial, infographics, magazines and social. 

  • PPG, a global paints and coatings conglomerate with more than 46,000 employees worldwide. Work included marketing and content strategy, video creation and development and design direction for print, digital and social.

I served as the team lead and creative director for the Chickasaw Nation, one of the strongest sovereign Native American tribes in the country. Duties included art development and direction for print, video and online; leadership of team comprised of art directors, content managers and copywriters; and participation in and development of editorial strategy and content.
 

I managed a number of diverse communications strategies including:

  • Issues-based, quick-response online properties,

  • Travel and tourism content development and execution,

  • Extensive organic- and paid-search campaigns.

  • Internet architecture and interaction design.
     

I was instrumental in the creation and development of a robust online video platform fully customizable and capable of being deployed almost instantly. Platform includes custom content management, video encoding functions and live-streaming HD capabilities. 
 

Directed advocacy media campaigns for the Chickasaw Nation, including a contentious campaign over water rights. The online property — WaterFuture.tv — and its corresponding social media efforts responded to legislators, attorneys general and the governor in real time over the ongoing issue of water rights and tribal sovereignty and served as a tool to change public opinion on water use and legislation.

Senior creative for sports marketing and production company. Our team created and developed multi-channel marketing campaigns for numerous sports properties including ESPN, ESPN 2, The Kentucky Derby and the NFL Network. Work included design and management of editorial web properties for ESPN, print, digital and TV advertising and leadership of new business pitches.

Additionally, our team helped in the development of feature length documentaries including "Ghosts of Bataan,' an in-depth look at the tragic story of the Bataan Death March during World War II.
